Breast Augmentation

Breast size is important to many women. Some women feel that small breasts not only limit their fashion choices, but also cause dissatisfaction with body image. Breasts contribute to female body proportions. A proper and proportionate body contributes to overall attractiveness. For many women, breast size is an important part of feeling good, desirable and normal.

Breast augmentation helps to increase fullness and projection of the breasts. This improves the balance in a woman’s figure, and enhances her self-image and self-confidence. It can make a woman feel more close to the ideal, and can drastically improve the way she views herself.
Breast augmentation is done through either insertion of silicone implant or Fat grafting.

Who is it for?

Women who have small, underdeveloped, asymmetric breasts, or breasts which have decreased in size after a woman has had children are the ideal candidates for Breast Augmentation. It is also suitable for women who feel they should have bigger breasts to give them a proportionate figure. Reconstruction of breasts after mastectomy is also possible using implants.
Adult women of any age can benefit from breast augmentation. However, we recommend you to ensure that your breasts have fully developed before you consider breast augmentation.

What is Breast Augmentation Surgery?

Breast augmentation is commonly known as boob job. Breast is a symbol of womanhood. Well-placed and well-shaped voluminous boobs that are in harmony with the body is a desire of every single woman. Not all women are fortunate enough to be blessed with an aesthetically beautiful breast. It is important for self-esteem, confidence and personal relationships. Breast Augmentation helps to restore volume that is lost after weight loss and sometimes with ageing or congenitally small breast.

The procedure uses silicone implant augmentation as well as a fat grafting method to restore the desired fullness. It provides symmetry and a natural look to your boobs. The procedure is also sometimes termed as augmentation mammoplasty. Sometimes fat from another part of the patient’s body is used to create an improved volume. When fat from another body part are used, it is known as autologous fat transfer breast augmentation/boob job surgery.

If the breasts have sagged due to their weight, then the procedure to correct this is called Reduction Mastopexy.

A breast reduction surgery is also known as reduction mammoplasty, which removes excess boobs tissues and skin to achieve a proper proportionate breast with an aesthetic size suited to the patient’s acceptable body figure and physique. Types of Breast Reduction Surgery There has been considerable evolution in mammoplasty theory and technique over recent years. The top mammoplasty techniques that are available are as follows:

Breast Lift

Age changes in the breasts A woman’s breasts often change over time, losing their youthful shape and firmness. These changes including loss of skin elasticity can result from pregnancy, breast feeding, weight fluctuations, aging and gravity. All these factors play a major role in making the breasts sag. Heredity may also be a factor- a woman in her teens may experience loose sagging breast tissue. Breasts that have lost their firm, uplifted contours can affect a woman’s self-image and confidence. If you desire to restore the firmness and shape of your breasts, then a breast lift procedure may be right for you. zIf you desire to restore the firmness and shape of your breasts, then a breast lift procedure may be right for you. Age changes in the breasts A woman’s breasts often change over time, lBreast lift is most suitable for women who have breasts that have sagged (ptosis), or have become loose. What is Breast lift Surgery?

Breast Lift is also known as Mastopexy. The surgery raises the saggy, droopy boobs by removing the excess skin and tightening the tissue to provide a lifted contour to the boobs. It also reduces the areola size if it is enlarged. A variety of incision patterns are practiced in the procedure. The type of breast lift procedure to opt for depends on these factors:

  • Size and shape of the breast
  • The size and position of your areolas
  • The amount of sag on your breast
  • Skin quality and elasticity as well as the amount of extra skin

There are three common incision patterns:

  • Periareolar mastopexy, incision Around the areola.
  • The incision can be made around the areola and vertically down from the areola to the breast crease, vertical lift or vertical mammoplasty.
  • The third method is the incision made around the areola, vertically down from the crease and horizontally along the breast crease.

The underlying breast tissue is lifted and it is restructured to provide firmness and contour of the breast. The nipple and areola are relocated to a natural, more youthful height. If necessary, enlarged areolas are reduced by excising skin at the perimeter. Excess boob’s skin is removed to provide elasticity to the skin.
The incision marks are made in such a way that it is concealed in the natural breast contours. The incision marks will significantly improve in a few months.
